Welcome CDA Renewal Candidates!

This online course is Step 1 in the Renewal Process required by The Council for Professional Recognition.

This online course meets the Education Requirements as required by The Council for Professional Recognition.

When you are ready to begin, simply click on Class Curriculum. You will read the class notes and complete all assignments (7). Each assignment will be submitted to your instructor for review and approval.

Once you have satisfactorily completed ALL assignments, you will click on the Renewal Quiz for your setting (the same as your current credential...preschool, infant/toddler, or family home). Take the multiple choice quiz and print your Training Certificate!

You must then present a copy of your certificate to your center/program director or other authorized staff so that they can complete the CDA Renewal Candidate Training Verification Form (in the Renewal Procedures Guide...see below).

Note: To complete the renewal process, you will need to download the Renewal Procedures Guide from Council at www.cdacouncil.org. It is required by Council and defines the necessary steps in the renewal process.
